A DECISION TO MERGE
If there is to be a merger between the two schools, then a totally new school with state-of-the-art learning centres, catering for 450 students would be built on the Maple Street site. Whilst both school sites were considered in a study, the architect’s assessment was that the Maple Street site was the better choice of the two. Clever design, including some double-storey design, would provide Teaching and Learning spaces, Administration and specialist areas which could be used as community facilities.
